Born of Flame

This was my first watercolor, one of my first full drawings, and the first painting I had hung in a gallery. This was just a few weeks ago, and I suppose late 20s is a bit of a slow start for getting into art, but I've only recently had the confidence to try. The original copy that was in the gallery sold about a week ago. I'm so thrilled to have had my first painting sell, the very first time I had one in a gallery. As I'm still learning, there are things I would have changed about this piece, but apparently someone liked it enough to pay for it anyway. Either way, I'm proud of it. Baby steps, after all.
